amazing view comfy bed free spa
the billiard room had amazing views back and front. the comfy bed had two large sofas to lounge on, a slipper bath was available in the cosy bathroom. breakfast and free use of the spa and jacuzzi were included, a real bonus!
the staff lacked warmth on arrival and they didn't address some issues i mentioned in my room.

a serene getaway
beautiful grounds extensive path kind staff dated spa expensive prices outside noise
the grounds were quite beautiful with an extensive path system. i discovered many picture opportunities throughout my stay. the staff was very kind , even though a wedding was actively happening. i found this attentiveness amazing.
the spa felt somewhat dated and could use an update. i thought prices for both food and drinks were a bit expensive. my room was also open to some outside noise , and i was awakened before 8:00 am.

The building itself has great architecture. The grounds behind the hotel provide a calm atmosphere. Check-in was efficient.
The prices seemed high for both food and beverages. The room allowed outside noise inside. I woke before 8:00 am to sounds from outside.

the location was indeed quiet. staff members seemed consistently friendly and helpful. i enjoyed the well-cooked breakfast.
my room smelled musty upon arrival, so i opened windows. spider webs covered the windows and some dampness looked around the frames. i found the water pressure pitiful.

beautiful house clean room standard food
I found the setting of this stately house quite beautiful. The room was clean and equipped well. Breakfast included efficient, friendly service and the food selections were of high standard. The spa facilities provided a nice addition, especially the hot tub outdoors..
Shower pressure in the en suite was notably low. This issue could use attention.

The spa facilities are a nice addition. I had a wonderful 80 minute inner calm massage.. Vladimira is a wonderful therapist. She seemed to care that I had an excellent spa experience.
My room was large. the carpets were wrinkled. The top of the bed side tables had water damage and were not in a good condition. The tea, coffee, and biscuit supply had not been restocked following the previous guests visit. There was only 1 coffee and 1 biscuit remaining for me.
